About St Patrick's Business College
St Patrick’s Business College is a small private provider of training. The College history shows that St Patrick’s has made an outstanding contribution to the commercial life of Sydney since its opening in 1923.
The College currently provides courses in Business Administration, Business Marketing, Hospitality, Hospitality Management and Event Management.
The College has strong industry links and is proud of its high employment rates. Most of our students have positions before they complete the course. It should be made very clear the we do however not guarantee employment outcomes.
St Patrick’s provides a structured transition from school to work allowing students to develop skills which will ensure success in the career options they choose. An outline of the firms who employ our graduates gives an indication of the standard of the College. The list of employers of our graduates can be found on this website.
St Patrick’s has provided outstanding opportunities for many young (and not so young) people over a long period of time. The College will continue to do so into the future and you are invited to be part of its story.
From the beginning of the 1996 College year, St Patrick’s has been operated by CatholicCare.
CatholicCare is well known as the community services agency of the Catholic Church and also provides highly acclaimed programs of management training, employee assistance, mediation and job placement.
With over 80 years’ experience in training young people for employment, St Patrick’s Business College has established a strong reputation among employers and students alike.
Since our inception, we’ve grown. From a college training secretarial and office administration skills, we have responded to the demands of the workplace for new skills training. St Patrick’s has broadened its curriculum to include business administration, business marketing, hospitality and event courses.
We provide a transition from school to the workplace or to university. We do this through vocational skills development and also through the teaching of interpersonal skills and
personal presentation training. These life skills enhance both job performance and social ease.
Our teaching staff makes St Patrick’s a very special learning experience. All professionals in their field, our teachers are friendly and caring, always making themselves available to students.
Taking a responsible and ethical view of training, we see our students as individuals with diverse interests and ambitions – we welcome them all. The College places an importance on values, both in society and in the workplace. This is seen by employers as a distinction that sets our graduates apart from many others.
